Khentrul Rinpoche and translator Paloma Landry

Katog Vajra Ling is a Connecticut meditation group studying Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of Khentrul Lodrö T’hayé Rinpoche. We meet regularly to deepen our personal practice and to support one another in developing greater compassion and wisdom for the sake of all beings. No previous meditation experience required and new participants are warmly welcomed. Our meditation sessions, study groups, live streaming events, and social gatherings take place at at our Dharma Center in Guilford  (new address to be announced when we are able to meet) and in Old Saybrook at 341 Boston Post Road.  In addition to our regular practice schedule, Khentrul Rinpoche and other teachers come to Connecticut for weekend teachings and for longer retreats.

Khentrul Rinpoche’s new book, “The Power of Mind”, is available at RJ Julia and online through Shambala and other booksellers, and an audiobook is available through Audible. Spread the word and the dharma will spread!

Update about the new KVL dharma center and group practice (9/17/2022):

Khentrul Rinpoche has given us permission to begin meeting again!! We are just waiting for the new dharma center to be finished. The good news is that completion is just around the corner and Rinpoche blessed the center when he was in CT for his book launch. Be on the lookout for email announcements regarding the date when we will begin practicing together. We will also have news about when the Old Saybrook satellite group will begin their practices.

Khentrul Rinpoche’s talk and book signing on 9/7/22 were co-sponsored by RJ Julia and Katog Vajra Ling. The event was very well attended and the books sold out. The sangha gathering on 9/10/22 was special as we had some informal time with Rinpoche to catch up and reconnect in person. Rinpoche was very pleased with the events as well as his time reuniting with his students.

Katog Choling is offering regular group meditation practices. For details:
