Katog Vajra Ling is a Connecticut meditation group studying Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of Khentrul Lodrö T’hayé Rinpoche. We meet regularly to deepen our personal practice and to support one another in developing greater compassion and wisdom for the sake of all beings. No previous meditation experience required and new participants are warmly welcomed. Our meditation sessions, study groups, live streaming events, and social gatherings take place at at our Dharma Center in Guilford  (new address to be announced when we are able to meet) and in Old Saybrook at 341 Boston Post Road.  In addition to our regular practice schedule, Khentrul Rinpoche and other teachers come to Connecticut for weekend teachings and for longer retreats.

Please take note (updated 1/6/2022): Due to the need for physical distancing to protect ourselves and others during the pandemic and per Khentrul Rinpoche’s request, all practices and gatherings at the center have been postponed until further notice. Although our Dharma Center on Fair Street closed, we look forward to gathering again when it is safe at our new center in Guilford. Details will be provided when we are able to gather.

UPDATE ABOUT NEW CENTER (1/6/2022):  Good news! The new studio is slowly being constructed. The owner has reported that it has taken longer than expected due to COVID-related material cost increases and reduced availability of  tradespeople. But it is happening!! It is located in Guilford. Doors and windows have been installed. We are hoping that it will be available for practice when RInpoche gives the word for us to meet again in person.

Katog Choling is offering regular group meditation practices. For details:
